"2 AM the "water" alarm went off near the water heater. It wasn't the heater itself, but the expansion tank was leaking. I called Big City Plumbing right at 8 AM and was told it would be the next afternoon. Oh Lord, I had already dumped out 3 buckets of water. A few minutes later they called back that since the expansion tank only takes about an hour, they could squeeze me in. THANK YOU. It was around 10:30 when Gerald texted that he was on his way. True, it didn't take too long to replace the expansion tank; however, the tank leaked because our water pressure was too high. We had a pressure regulator installed years ago at the water softener. That is now out of code. Gerald and his partner worked another 2 hours removing the old pressure regulator and digging up the ground to install another one by the water meter. THANK YOU so much. Not sure I could have stood hours more of dripping noise and dumping the 1.5 gal bucket every two hours. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIG CITY PLUMBING."

"This company is amazing! We have an older house and had been having plumbing back up issues on and off for a year. This time we did everything we possibly could and could not unclog it so had to call a professional. We called several different places and between outrageous prices and no shows we could not find a plumber to come out and help! Thankfully a friend recommended Big City Plumbing! From the moment we called the lady, Rafaela who answered was so professional, friendly and genuinely concerned with helping us asap! (we didn't have restroom access for 4 days at this point) She gave us prices up front and they were VERY REASONABLE and VERY AFFORDABLE compared to other places we called! We called late in the day so they had someone go over the next day asap. The technician was thorough, professional and took his time assessing the issue and explaining what he was doing. After he checked everything he determined the issue was past our property line and had to do with the city lines. To help us even more, he went and marked the road where the issue was so that when SAWS came they could locate the issue. The tech had a written statement put together for us that stated everything Big City Plumbing did and that it determined the issue needed to be fixed by the city. They told us to call SAWS and to print the statement out and put it on our front door for SAWS. The city came the next day and with the detailed report provided by BCP they acknowledged they were at fault and immediately fixed the issue that day! BCP made this unfortunate experience so much easier! They care about their customers and I HIGHLY recommend them!! Although I hope I never have any issues again I can say if I ever do they will be the first ones I call!! Thank you again BCP for your great service!"
